The story of Skywater Building Co., a family owned business, started in Florida in 1987 with home construction beginning January of 1988 in North Carolina.
Owners Ann and Kent Seeley brought their combined talents together in creating Skywater Building Co. Kent’s construction background was a perfect blend with Ann’s Kitchen Design Company.
Continuing the family tradition, daughter Stephanie entered the business in 1999 shortly after graduation from college, becoming the Project Coordinator and eventually assuming the design duties from Ann. Stephanie is now Vice President of Production for the company.
Son Nathan, after graduating from ECU with a degree in Construction Management, came on board in 2004 as a Project Manager, and is now Vice President of Operations.
Family values are continuing to be ongoing with both generations of the Seeley family and are a major influence in their home construction business.
